We at 826LA have had so much help from some incredibly generous people. Their donations have helped us provide free, engaging writing instruction to students throughout Los Angeles. Please consider making a donation to 826LA so that we can send writing tutors into LA classrooms, help students at our centers publish chapbooks, and teach students to write and produce radio pieces and short films.

Monthly Donations

You can also choose to set up regular monthly donations to 826LA!

A $25 monthly donation supports 826LA in-house publications. Subscribe at this level and we will (1) include your name in the acknowledgment section of our Dogtown Books and Echo Press chapbooks, and (2) receive copies of these chapbooks.

For $50 each month, you can support our in-house chapbooks and our annual Young Authors' Project book. At this level, we will acknowledge you in our Dogtown Books and Echo Press chapbooks, as well as our Young Authors' Project publication. You will also receive copies of all these books.

Of course, you can also choose your own monthly subscription level.

Employee Donor Matching

If your company has a corporate giving program or foundation, it's likely that they'll match donations to 826LA made on behalf of their employees, retired employees, and even employee spouses. See this link for a list of companies with a reputation for matching donor money.

Even if your company isn't on the list, it may still match donations. Check with your HR department. If they do, they can provide you with all the necessary forms.
